What the eight questions measure
Four axes, two questions each, every one scored from −3 to +3. Each question feeds exactly one axis, which is what makes a result traceable: one answer moves one axis by a known amount and nothing else.

Top-to-bottom balance is zero for five of the seven: only heart (wide at the brow, narrow at the chin) and triangle (the reverse) are decided by it. Round and diamond share a wide cheek reading — one from flesh, one from bone — and are separated by proportion and jawline instead.
Why there is no photo upload
Most face shape tools ask for a selfie. We ask you instead, for two reasons. A phone camera taken above eye level shortens the chin and widens the forehead, so the picture disagrees with the mirror before any software sees it. And a photograph would have to leave your device to be processed, which would make every claim on this page about privacy untrue.
The cost is that the answers are yours, so the result is only as careful as you were. The benefit is that you can see exactly which answer moved which axis, redo one question, and watch the result change — which no detector will show you.
